Bucks Beat Heat 113-98

Last time the Bucks played the Heat they held Milwaukee to 8 points in the 1st quarter. Tonights game felt the same way as Miami was up on the Bucks 37-19 after the first quarter. It was starting to feel like the Heat just had our number and I was sitting here fearing what might happen if we meet the Heat in the first round of the playoffs.

The second quarter came and the Bucks played the Heat much better only being outscored 25-23 in the second quarter. That still left the Bucks going into the half down by 20 points in Miami with the Heat very much in control. When Coach Bud went into the locker room with his team he knew things had to change and his Bucks were up for the task.

Milwaukee came out in the second half and got right to business outscoring Miami 37-18 in the 3rd quarter and swinging the game all the way into Milwaukee’s and they had made it a 1 point game at the end of the third.

In the 4th Milwaukee started down by 1 and it looked like it was going to be a tough game but the Bucks had other plans and they kept playing in the 4th the way they did in the 4th and outscored the Heat 34-18 to complete a 113-98 victory over the Miami Heat.

The Bucks now return home to Milwaukee to face the 76ers on Sunday afternoon. Milwaukee is still number one in the Eastern Conference and in control of the best record in the NBA.

Bucks lose to San Antonio in a matchup that featured the Bucks head coach playing against the organization he worked and assistant coached in for 19 years. Mike Budenholzer comes from the Gregg Popovich tree and if you didn’t know then I’m sure you suddenly understand him better now. So tonights game was teacher vs student and the teacher got the best of the duo this time around.

Suns Beat Bucks 114-105

Milwaukee just did something that they didn’t do all season so far. The Bucks just lost 2 games in a row for the first time this season. Not only did they lose 2 games in a row but they just lost to the team with the worst record in the NBA the Phoenix Suns. To add insult to injury this is not the fist the they lost to Phoenix this year, they have now lost to the Suns each time there going to see them this year. The Suns are 14-51 on the season and 2 of those wins cam against the Bucks.

The story for the Bucks tonight was the horrible shooting. Milwaukee shot only 36.8% from the field tonight. Middleton was 1-13, Lopez was 3-11 and Mirotic was 3-14. Theres no way for the Bucks to beat anybody if those guys are gonna shot that bad. As you could see they didn’t even manage to beat the worst team in the Leauge when they shot like that.

Milwaukee now heads home to face the Pacers on Thursday from the Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee still holds onto the best record in the league but thats not for long if this type of play continues.

Jazz Beat Bucks 115-111

Milwaukee pulled into Salt Lake City for the 4th game of the road trip and the second game of a back to back. The Milwaukee Bucks started a huge lineup that featured Khris, Giannis, Ersan, Nikola and Brook. Milwaukee game out and went up big to start the game but that did not last. Being short Brogdon and Bledsoe proved to be to much of a setback to maintain things and the Bucks were forced to go deep into the bench and they just didn’t have enough in the tank of the second night of a back to back to get it done.

On the positive side of things Brook Lopez started the game being a total monster. He blocked 6 shots the first 6 mins and blocked a total of 7 for the game. Khris Middleton scored 29 points and grabbed 9 rebounds but shot 8-24 from the field and that factored in with the 38.5% shooting from the field that the Bucks did as a team.

The nationally televised ESPN game featuring the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers was all that you could hope for. As the must win Lakers came out playing with Fire as they hosted the team with the best record in the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is clearly still nursing that sore right knee as he seamed a little off and was not about to be as effective as normal. But that didn’t hold back or stop the Bucks from getting the victory in L.A. as Milwaukee had 7 players in double figures. Eric Bledsoe lead his team by scoring 31 points, grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing 5 assists on the day he resigned with the club signing a 4 year $70 Million dollar deal.

Sacramento, Ca – The Milwaukee Bucks came into Sacramento to face the young and surging Kings on the second of a 5 game road trip for the Milwaukee Bucks. The Kings have won 9 of the last 10 home games coming into the game so its by far a tough place to play right now.

Milwaukee was leading most of the game until the 4th quarter when Sacramento got red hot and outscored the Bucks by 13. It felt like the game had slipped all they way away until Eric Bledsoe stole the ball from Fox as time expired as he denied the ability for the Kings to even attempt a game winning shot.

In the extra period the Bucks controlled the tip and Bledsoe and hit a 3 to start it off. Milwaukee was able to play tough and take the Kings down in their own building. Bledsoe was definitely the player of he game for the Bucks recording a triple double with 26 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds.
