Last time the Bucks played the Heat they held Milwaukee to 8 points in the 1st quarter. Tonights game felt the same way as Miami was up on the Bucks 37-19 after the first quarter. It was starting to feel like the Heat just had our number and I was sitting here fearing what might happen if we meet the Heat in the first round of the playoffs.
The second quarter came and the Bucks played the Heat much better only being outscored 25-23 in the second quarter. That still left the Bucks going into the half down by 20 points in Miami with the Heat very much in control. When Coach Bud went into the locker room with his team he knew things had to change and his Bucks were up for the task.
Milwaukee came out in the second half and got right to business outscoring Miami 37-18 in the 3rd quarter and swinging the game all the way into Milwaukee’s and they had made it a 1 point game at the end of the third.
In the 4th Milwaukee started down by 1 and it looked like it was going to be a tough game but the Bucks had other plans and they kept playing in the 4th the way they did in the 4th and outscored the Heat 34-18 to complete a 113-98 victory over the Miami Heat.
The Bucks now return home to Milwaukee to face the 76ers on Sunday afternoon. Milwaukee is still number one in the Eastern Conference and in control of the best record in the NBA.
