Milwaukee, WI – Tonight was the first time Malcom Brogdon played in Milwaukee and didn’t have on a Bucks uniform. Tonight former Rookie Of The Year Malcom Brogdon came into town as the starting point guard for the Indiana Pacers. Brogdon didn’t have a very good game going 5-19 from the field.
The Bucks were lead in scoring tonight by the guy that basically replaced Malcom Brogdon, Wesley Matthews who scored 19 points on only 10 shots from the field.
Milwaukee, WI – Malcom Brogdon came back to Milwaukee and still has some tough feeling about not being retained by the Bucks. The words he spoke before the game ruffled some feathers and rubbed people the wrong way. The Bucks answered by shutting him down and making him realize they could be ok without him.
Indianapolis, Indiana – Malcom Brogdon was out with injury and didn’t get a chance to face his former team and the Pacers maybe could have used him. The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Pacers was ease in a game that featured not one player playing more then 28 mins.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds all is his team high 28 mins. The Bucks look like there starting to roll and now are 9-3 on the season.
Milwaukee, Wi – The Bucks returned to the Fiserv Forum and got back on track against the Indiana Pacers tonight. The Greek Freak put on an MVP like performance with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Khris Middleton was a strong co-star tonight with 27 points and strong defense that generated 3 steals.
Kemba Walker and the Charlotte Hornets come into Milwaukee on Saturday in what could end up to be a preview of the first round matchup for he Bucks. With the victory Milwaukee stays 3 games ahead of Toronto at the top of the Eastern Conference and still holds the best recored in the NBA.
Milwaukee went onto Indiana to face the Pacers in the last game before All Star weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina the home of the Hornets. Bucks leader Giannis Antetokounmpo is the captain of one of the teams and Khris Middleton is joining him as a reserve on Gianni’s team. Team “Giannis” is going to face-off on Sunday against Team “LeBron”. But before the All Star festivities Milwaukee had to play one more game.
The Greek Freak was in form tonight and recorded a triple double in Indiana to help lead the Bucks to a 106-97 victory over the Pacers. Antetokounmpo recorded 33 points to go along with 19 rebounds and 11 assists. Brogdon scored 17 points and Middleton added 15 and Milwaukee remains red hot going into the All Star break with a Leauge best 43-14 record.
Milwaukee takes the court again next Thursday the 21st for a nationally televised game on TNT against the Boston Celtics from the Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks matched up with central division rival Indiana Pacers tonight and things didn’t go as planned. Milwaukee came into the game seeded 2nd in the East and looking to work gain ground on the Raptors but that didn’t happen.
With the exception of Eric Bledsoe’s 26 points the Milwaukee Bucks were completely shut down! Giannis was held to 12 points and the even more puzzling part is he only got 7 shots up. Middleton continued to struggle and was 4-18 from the field, Brogdon was 4-11 and Lopez was 5-16. There’s just no way your can win a game when your starters are that bad offensively.
George Hill got 22 mins of action in his return to his home state, the place he played High School, College and Pro Ball a couple years ago for the Pacers. He only managed to put up 4 points and 1 assist in that time.
The Bucks head to Cleveland on Friday to face the Cavs. The game time is 6:30 and can be seen on FS1.
Bucks Beat Pacers 118-101 In First Game At Fiserv Forum tonight. But the Bucks started the game off slow and had to call a timeout before getting on the score board. Dedicated fans were still standing awaiting the first regular season Bucks points in history. After the timeout they quickly got on the board with 2 Giannis dunks and a Middleton steal and dunk.
The Bucks got rolling and we’re up 62-53 at the half on the Indiana Pacers. By the games half Giannis already had 22 points and 11 rebounds. Brogdon also added 11 points in the first half.
Milwaukee continued to roll in the second half and the game was far from competitive. To be honest Indiana was flat and couldn’t get anything going. John Henson did the unthinkable and hit 2 three pointers including one as time expired in the 3rd quarter.
The Greek Freak finished with 26 points and 15 rebounds as Middleton chipped in with 23 points of his own including 5 three pointers.
The Bucks host game three of the season Monday in Milwaukee as they host the New York Knicks. The game starts at 8:30 from the Fiserv Forum.
