The Knicks came out strong in the 1st quarter to take a strong lead. But a 18-2 run in the second quarter left the Bucks up 5 at the half. Brook Lopez hit a couple 3’s and powered home a Giannis like Dunk as his arm went sweeping around his body before bringing to back and slamming it over the Knicks defender. Middleton had 16 at the half on 7-11 shooting to lead the Bucks in the first half as he bounced back from a shooting slump and started to get back on track.

Khris Middleton fell right on his face shooting 2-12 from the field and only producing 6 points in 29 mins of play. Middleton continues to be inconsistant on and not do himself justice if he hopes to get a big contract on the open market and push the Bucks towards a max deal.

Heat Beat Bucks 94-87

Milwaukee headed down to South Beach to play the Miami Heat on Saturday night. Malcom Brogdon was off for the night and resting. But This was the type of game that you would and should be able to expect the Bucks to win. But in typical Bucks fashion they lose to average teams and beat great teams. I never can understand how they fail to perform so often in games like this.

Giannis was 3-12 from the field with only 9 points and his worst game on the offensive end in a long time. Lopez was 4-11 from the field and Bledsoe was 4-12.The Bucks shot 37% from the field. There was minimal ball movement and low quality possessions time after time. The Bucks shot 9-43 from the three point line and seamed at times to just be throwing shots up.

Tonight’s game matched the Milwaukee Bucks against the Boston Celtics team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. If you include the 4 games the Bucks lost in Boston in last years playoffs and the first loss of the season after the 7-0 start to this season the Bucks have lost 6 in a row in Boston coming into tonight’s game.

The game started with a timeout called by the Bucks after Boston started the game up 10-1. The Bucks came out of that timeout and completely turned things around. The Bucks took that all the way to a 120-107 victory. The Bucks are now 22-9 and have the clubs best start to the season since the 1981-1982 season.

On the Detroit side of things Blake Griffin recorded a triple double with 19 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. The negative side of his stat line is the 10 turn overs that definitely didn’t help the Pistons chances of a victory.

Milwaukee crossed the border today to play the number one in the East seeded Toronto Raptors. Last time they played the Bucks didn’t have Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Raptors didn’t have Kawhi Leonard. In that game the Bucks won 124-109. These two players were currently viewed by most experts as the leading MVP candidates so far this season. So with each of the Super Stars playing tonight it was a real test for each teams.

Tonights game did not disappoint as the top teams in the East went down to the wire at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
