Detroit, MI – Tonight the Bucks won their 13th straight game but that didn’t come without a almost literal fight. The game got rough and featured Blake Griffin pushing to the ground and then stepping over Giannis. The Greek Freak kept his cool and didn’t retaliate.
Giannis scored 35 points to lead 5 Bucks who scored in double figures. Next up Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Milwaukee Bucks have satisfied Thon Makers trade request and got him out of town before the Trade Deadline. The Bucks have shipped him to Detroit and in return the Pistons are sending back athletic wing and solid defender Stanley Johnson. Johnson was scoring 7.5 ppg and grabbing 3.6 rpg in 20 mins of action per night.
Stanley was drafted 8th overall out of Arizona in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons. Johnson is in the last year of his rookie deal and scheduled to become a Restricted Free Agent at seasons end. Thon Maker leaves Milwaukee after just 2 and a half seasons and hopes to gain quality mins in Detroit to establish himself in the league.
Bucks Trade Thon Maker To Pistons For Stanley Johnson
Fresh off a loss in OKC the Milwaukee Bucks rolled into the motor city for a game against the Detroit Pistons. The league is buzzing about Anthony Davis’s trade demand and the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to make an offer in an attempt the add the big man. Who are the Bucks going to offer? Who might not be with the club for long? These are the type of thoughts that are going threw peoples minds and definitely would on some level have to be on the minds of players.
When Milwaukee showed up at the Little Caesars Arena and temperatures were at and below zero degrees outside. Pat Connaughton might have just broke out of Coach Buds Dog House after lighting up the building with 16 points in 22 mins on 7-8 shooting from the field. Milwaukee was lead by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 21 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots.
Milwaukee is now 1-1 on the 5 game road trip and heading to Toronto for a face-off with the team thats been right behind them in the standings on top of the Eastern Conference. This game is going to have a playoff atmosphere and will test the Bucks on all levels.
Milwaukee played in the Motor City tonight and it turned into a Midwest, Central Division showdown. The Bucks seamed to be in control of the in the second quarter when they stormed out to a solid lead. But in the 3rd quarter the Pistons started to get back into the game and by the end of the game it was down to the wire. Milwaukee won by 3 points and survived partly in thanks to Sterling Brown who added 9 points and valuable mins off the bench.
The Greek Freak scored 32 points, grabbed 12 points and dished 5 assists. Bledsoe scored 17 points and had 9 assists and Middleton also had 22 points. Tony Snell started, scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. D.J. Wilson played 26 mins and scored 9 points on 4-5 shooting from the field.
On the Detroit side of things Blake Griffin recorded a triple double with 19 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. The negative side of his stat line is the 10 turn overs that definitely didn’t help the Pistons chances of a victory.
The Bucks now travel back home to Milwaukee to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night at 7pm at the Fiserv Forum. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Wisconsin.

Blake Griffin is playing at an All Star level again and with Andre Drummond along side of him they make up one of the toughest front lines in the NBA.
The Bucks came into tonights game without the teams second leading scorer, Khris Middleton. The Bucks came out tonight and took control of the game from the first quarter and didn’t look back. The Bucks won every single game and didn’t need to play a single player more then 26 mins. Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe had another great game scoring 27 points in only 26 mins of action.
Milwaukee won the game tonight 115-92 and they now await the defending champion Golden State Warriors at the Fiserv Forum on Friday night. The crown should be pumped and it should definetly be a fun game to attend.
