Bucks Beat Nuggets 104-98

Milwaukee, WI – When Denver rolled in to town tonight it matched the 10-6 Denver Nuggets vs the 11-4 Milwaukee Bucks. Two of the hottest young teams in the NBA faced off and this game was everything advertised and that you would expect.

Denver came out and edged the Bucks out by 4 in the 1st quarter and then by 6 in the 2nd quarter. This gave the Nuggets a 10 point lead at the half and made the bucks go into the locker room and regroup. Coach Mike Budenholzer must have said the right words and fired the guys up because in the 3rd quarter the Bucks turned the tables. After being down by as much as 17 the Bucks were up by one at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Bucks held the lead and finished with a 104-98 victory over the Nuggets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo played like an elite NBA Super Star again by leading the Bucks with 29 Points, 12 Rebounds, 6 Assists and 2 Steals. Eric Bledsoe continued to give Milwaukee a lift at the point with 23 Points, 5 rebounds, 5 Assists and 3 Steals.

The Bucks are now 12-4 and face the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Portland is now 11-5 and currently the number one seed in the Western Conference. The Bucks just got knocked off in Portland on the west coast trip and now have a chance in Milwaukee for redemption. The game starts at 7pm from the Fiserv Forum and should be a good one!

Bucks Beat Nuggets 121-114

The Bucks came into Denver on a Sunday for the 4th game of a road trip. The Bucks are coming off a 2 point loss to the Clippers in L.A. and were 1-2 on the trip when the game began. The Nuggets and Bucks each came into the game 9-3 and with building buzz around the NBA.

The Bucks lead 63-59 at the half. In the 3rd quarter Brook Lopez came alive and kept Milwaukee alive from behind the arch and by end of the 3rd quarter he had 8s and 28 points! With every shot he hit the bench got more and more excited. These were not just some regular 3s. These were 4,5 and 6 feet behind the 3 point line. Brook Lopez put on a clinic is long range shooting.

With a little more then 4 mins left in the 4th Eric Bledsoe made 2 huge defensive plays. First he stole the ball and took it in for a dunk and then seconds later he blocked a shot and finished on the break for a lay in. And in the final seconds as the Nuggets tried to pull back in Bledsoe stole the ball on the inbound, missed the lay in but kept it alive enough for Lopez to tip it out to Middleton and secure the possession.

When the buzzer went of the Bucks Beat the Nuggets 121-114 and were 2-2 on the road trip. They beat the Nuggets, Warriors and lost to the Clippers and Trail Blazers. The Buck now return to Milwaukee to face Memphis on Wednesday.
