Milwaukee, WI – When Denver rolled in to town tonight it matched the 10-6 Denver Nuggets vs the 11-4 Milwaukee Bucks. Two of the hottest young teams in the NBA faced off and this game was everything advertised and that you would expect.
Denver came out and edged the Bucks out by 4 in the 1st quarter and then by 6 in the 2nd quarter. This gave the Nuggets a 10 point lead at the half and made the bucks go into the locker room and regroup. Coach Mike Budenholzer must have said the right words and fired the guys up because in the 3rd quarter the Bucks turned the tables. After being down by as much as 17 the Bucks were up by one at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Bucks held the lead and finished with a 104-98 victory over the Nuggets.
Giannis Antetokounmpo played like an elite NBA Super Star again by leading the Bucks with 29 Points, 12 Rebounds, 6 Assists and 2 Steals. Eric Bledsoe continued to give Milwaukee a lift at the point with 23 Points, 5 rebounds, 5 Assists and 3 Steals.
The Bucks are now 12-4 and face the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Portland is now 11-5 and currently the number one seed in the Western Conference. The Bucks just got knocked off in Portland on the west coast trip and now have a chance in Milwaukee for redemption. The game starts at 7pm from the Fiserv Forum and should be a good one!
