Milwaukee, Wi – In the first game back after the All Star break Milwaukee hosted the Boston Celtics in a big playoff like Eastern Conference game. The game went down to the wire and Bucks were able to escape with a 98-97 victory at the Fiserv Forum.
Bucks got everything they needed from their All Stars as Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and got 6 assists and 2 blocks to help lead the Bucks to victory. Khris Middleton hit the huge and last basket for Milwaukee that helped secure the victory. Eric Bledsoe played great defense on Kyrie Irving on the last play of the game to deny the ball inbound to Irving and then force him to his left and then contest the final shot that Kyrie was unable to hit as time expired.
The Bucks now host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday at 7:30 pm from the Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee is now 44-14 and still holds the best record in the NBA.
