This trade works in the Trade Machine and would provide an additional $17.6 Million in Cap Space next season, while bringing back to Milwaukee, where he played college for Marquette. Matthews would replace Snell in the rotation and provide additional scoring off the bench, while the departure of Ersan Ilyasova would free up more consistent minutes for D.J. Wilson along with providing an opportunity for the Bucks to find out just how good Christian Wood can be.
Tony Snell, Ersan Ilyasova For Wesley Matthews
This trade would actually make Dallas a better team and provide depth off the bench. For the Bucks it upgrades them on the wing while opening up room for our young interior players to grow. The biggest value for the Bucks is the fact that it frees up cap space, that business side of the deal is what would be the biggest motivating factor for the Bucks. Milwaukee should be prepared to add a couple second round picks if needed or maybe a late first rounder to make sure a deal like this gets done.
