Bucks 137, Trail Blazers 129: Antetokounmpo Records Triple Double!

Portland, Or – In the second night of a back to back Giannis Antetokounmpo records a Triple Double in Portland. 24 points, 19 rebounds and 15 assists. With Damian Lillard out with an injury Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe took advantage and scored 30 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks now head home 12-3 to face the Detroit Pistons in what should be a gritty Central Division game.

Bucks Beat Trail Blazers 143-100

Milwaukee, Wi – The Bucks and Giannis specifically have talked about not coming out slow and letting teams get ahead. They talked about not setting themselves up to have to play from behind. Tonight vs the Portland Trail Blazers who are seeded first in the West that’s exactly what the Bucks did. The Greek Freak did his part and scored 25 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the first half.

Things got no better for the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2nd half. The Bucks were clicking and destroyed Portland tonight. Giannis finished with 33 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists in 30 mins. Middleton had 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in only 24 mins. Bledsoe and Brogdon each added 16 points in 24 mins.

Milwaukee scored 143 points and beat the Trail Blazers 143-100. The Bucks host the Phoenix Suns Friday at 7:30pm.

Trail Blazers Beat Bucks 118-103

The road trip is underway and Portland started it off tough for Milwaukee. The Bucks were outscored in the 2nd quarter for the first time so far this season. The Backcourt was outscored 26-2. Brook Lopez was a bright spot with 16 points in the first half. Ginnas scored 13 and Middleton contributed 10 points.

In the 3rd Quarter Portland started to pull away behind C.J. McCollum and his 19 points on 9-11 shooting from the field. He really got the crowd into the game and took the wind out of the Bucks sails.

The Bucks started to 4th on a 8-0 run to cut he lead down to 6 points behind 3’s from Ersan and Middleton. The problem was after that the Trail Blazers got back to being red hot and knocking down outside shots. The Bucks played hard but it was just not enough as they started off the 5 game road trip with a loss in Portland. C.J. McCollum lead the Trail Blazers with a game high 40 points!
